About THSC PAC

Texas Home School Coalition (THSC PAC) is a state-wide political action committee. THSC PAC researches, endorses, and supports candidates who are pro-home schooling and pro-parental rights.

The Texas Home School Coalition was established as a political action committee (PAC) in 1986 by Kirk McCord of Hearth and Home Ministries and the late Brad Chamberlain. Because of the numerous law suits against home schoolers across the state and harmful legislation being introduced in Austin, they saw a need for a state-wide political organization to work for the rights of home schoolers in the state of Texas. The founders, believing government restriction could not be justified academically or socially, formed THSC PAC to oppose any regulation of home education in Texas.

THSC PAC has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1986. The PAC publishes a weekly e-newsletter that has includes articles which we believe will be of interest to most of the home school community of Texas.
